Colibri Resources: Advanced Property of Drilling in Mexico
Ron Goguen, Chairman & CEO of Colibri Resource Corp. talks about their advanced property in Sonora which has had six phases of drilling.
Colibri Resource is a gold exploration company, we have three gold properties. All properties are in Sonora, Mexico and we have one advanced property which is the Pilar and it’s had six phases of drilling. We are starting shortly our seventh phase of drilling and we hope to increase our resources and go to a production decision. Pilar is the most advanced property that we’ve had six drilling programs. we just did a round of financing which will give us our seventh program, a phase one drilling of this program. It will allow us to drill up to thirty holes and which should advance the property.
Mexico has been in the mining business for a long time, since the 1100s. Sonora is next to the United States but it’s the richest state in Mexico and probably the safest state. Colibri Resource Corporation has the experiened management team. Our focus is to increase our resources and go to a production decision on The Pilar. Also, our Pitaya property which is a joint venture with an Agnico Eagle. We hope when we move forward Agnico has much work as they did in the last year.” – Ron Goguen, Chairman & CEO of Colibri Resource Corp.
