Copper Mountain Mining Produces 80 Million lbs Of Copper Per Year
Copper Mountain Mining Corporation is an open pit operating mine in southern British Columbia. It produces in the order of 80 million pounds of copper per year. Also, we’ve been very successful in extending the mine life and increasing our resources. Recently as part of our growth strategy, we have reached an agreement to acquire an Australian company they’ve got about 4,000 square kilometers of mineral-rich ground. Consequently, it would be more than doubling our copper production.
Copper Mountain Mining Corporation (TSX: CMMC) is a Canadian based mining company. Moreover, its flagship asset is the Copper Mountain mine located in southern British Columbia, near the town of Princeton.
The Company has a strategic alliance with Mitsubishi Materials Corporation, who owns 25% of the mine. However, The Copper Mountain mine produces about 100 million pounds of copper equivalent production per year, including significant gold and silver credits. All of this is shipped to Japan for smelting in one of Mitsubishi’s copper smelters.
