Advancing the Wawa Gold Project with a 25,000-Meter Drill Program
Red Pine Exploration (TSX.V: RPX) is focused on gold exploration in northwestern Ontario, where its Wawa Gold Project spans over 7,000 hectares in a historically significant mining region. While past activity in the area dates back to the 1960s, modern exploration has been limited—until now. With a fully funded 25,000-meter drill program, Red Pine is targeting new gold discoveries beyond the existing resource, which currently holds 1.5 million ounces in open-pit gold at 1.5 g/t and 200,000 ounces in underground resources at 5 g/t.
By strategically stepping out from known mineralized zones, Red Pine aims to expand its underground resource base, increasing the project's overall scale and economic potential.
