Copper Fox Metals is advancing a portfolio of copper-focused projects in North America, with upcoming milestones including an economic study, exploration drilling and potential development decisions with a major mining partner.
Copper remains one of the most important metals in the global economy.
Its role in electrification, renewable energy and modern infrastructure has made the search for large copper deposits increasingly important.
Copper Fox Metals has built its strategy around that demand.
Founded in 2002, the company has focused primarily on copper exploration and development, building technical expertise in the metal over more than two decades.
Today, Copper Fox controls five copper-focused projects, several of which also contain recoverable amounts of molybdenum, gold and silver.
One of the company’s key development assets is its Van Dyke copper project in Arizona.
According to CEO Elmer Stewart, upcoming milestones include completion of a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) followed by work toward a Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS).
Economic studies like these help determine the potential viability of a mining project and outline the technical steps required for development.
Another important asset in the company’s portfolio is Schaft Creek, a large copper project where Copper Fox is working with a major mining partner.
A potential decision on advancing the project toward a Pre-Feasibility Study could represent a significant milestone.
Meanwhile, exploration work is underway at the company’s Mineral Mountain project in Arizona, where a maiden drilling program has recently begun.
The property sits approximately 20 kilometres southwest of the Resolution copper deposit, one of the largest undeveloped copper deposits in the world.
Results from the ongoing drill program could help determine the broader exploration potential of the area.
