It’s compact—just 2.5m by 6m—and is housed in a concrete-shielded unit roughly the size of a shipping container.
Unlike other advanced reactor concepts still in development, SOLO uses off-the-shelf components and low-enriched uranium that’s already approved and available at scale. That’s why Terra Innovatum is on track for a 2028 commercial rollout, with its first site planned in Illinois. With a reactor that cannot melt or explode, Terra Innovatum is reimagining nuclear energy—small, smart, and soon to be widely available.
