CEO of Klondex Mines, Paul Huet, on Big Gold Growth
Paul Huet, President and CEO of Klondex Mines Ltd. predicts a pivotal year with huge growth for the company.
Klondex is a high-grade gold producer in North America. Currently, it has four operations, two of which, Midas and Fire Creek, are a normal steady-state production. And so have been for the last two to three years.
2017 was a pivotal year for the company because it has ramped up True North in Canada and Hollister in Nevada. For the first time in history, Klondex will have consolidated three mines in the Northern Nevada rift, feeding one central mill.
Ore from Palliser, Fire Creek and Midas will feed the centralized mill located at Midas. The company has some of the best narrow vein mines in the world. Its assets are located in some of the safest jurisdictions on the planet, Nevada and Canada.
In conclusion, the company has some of the greatest exploration to be found anywhere in the world. And Klondex expects this year to be a pivotal one, with over 220,000 gold equivalent achieved.
Considered a huge step up from 2016, it’s about a 36 percent growth over last year, which has created a great buying opportunity.
