Gold producer with operating mines in North America and Mexico

Alamos is a Canadian-based intermediate gold producer with diversified production from three operating mines in North America, including the Young-Davidson and Island Gold Mines in northern Ontario, Canada, and the Mulatos Mine in Sonora, Mexico. Moreover, the Company has a leading growth profile with exploration and development projects in Mexico, Turkey, Canada and the United States. It also has a commitment to the highest standards of sustainable development.

A Company with Values

The values that drive Alamos are safety, integrity, teamwork, environmental sustainability and commitment. Markedly, the Company implemented the Home Safe Everyday Safety Program right after the merger of Alamos Gold and Aurico. "We knew we had to have a program and a message that became part of the culture of the company. Alamos is really a mining company of a more modern era.", says President and CEO, John McCluskey.

Alamo also believes that the beauty of a mine development is that it can be reclaimed. "We'll go in and we'll take all the shrubs and plants and they're all being maintained until the very end of the operation when they'll be used to replant the area where we've been mining.", says McCluskey.

Producing Mines

Young-Davidson is one of Alamos' flagship operations and among Canada’s largest underground gold mines. Furthermore, with growing production and a large mineral reserve base, Young-Davidson is a long-life gold mine that will serve as the Company’s foundation for growth for many years to come.

Additionally, Island Gold is a long-life, high-grade, low-cost underground gold mine located in Ontario, Canada. The operation is undergoing an expansion that will drive production higher, costs lower and strong free cash flow growth.

The Mulatos Mine is the Company's foundation, having been acquired for $10 million in 2003 and grown to become a consistent gold producer and significant cash flow generator. To date, Mulatos has generated approximately $420 million in free cash flow.
