Amex Gold Mining is advancing its high-grade Perron Gold Project toward production, backed by positive feasibility study economics, six active drill rigs and an expanding exploration portfolio across the Abitibi Greenstone Belt.
Amex Gold Mining is advancing its Perron Gold Project in Quebec, combining underground mine development with an active exploration program. Construction of the production sized portal and underground ramp is ongoing. The Company is permitted to complete a 40,000-tonne bulk sample, with the same mine infrastructure being used for the Phase 1 production plan..
The project's Phase 1 feasibility study outlines a $1.98 billion pre-tax net present value, approximately $2.49 billion in projected pre-tax free cash flow over five years, and a six-month capital payback period, based on a gold price of US$3,500 per ounce. Access to nearby hydroelectric infrastructure, with electricity costs cited at approximately 5.5 cents per kilowatt-hour, further supports the project's potential economics. Phase 2 expansion planning increases projected mine life and is based on extraction of additional gold zones not mined in the current Phase 1 plan.
Beyond the Perron production plan, Amex has expanded its land position more than twelvefold to approximately 570 square kilometres across the prolific Abitibi Greenstone Belt. With mine development progressing, a funded drilling program and significant exploration potential, Amex Gold Mining is working toward becoming a Canadian gold producer while pursuing additional discoveries.
