Cartier’s projects are all located in Quebec, which regularly ranks among the best mining jurisdictions in the world. Cartier is advancing the development of its flagship Chimo Mine project and actively exploring its other projects. Cartier has a solid cash position exceeding $5.7M and significant corporate and institutional supports, notably with Agnico Eagle Mines, Jupiter Asset Management and the Quebec investment funds.
Chimo Mine
Cartier holds a 100% interest in the property for which a 1% NSR ("Net Smelter Return") royalty has been granted to IAMGOLD corporation. The property is accessible year-round and is located near many ore processing mills in the Val-d'Or area.
To date, their drilling on the property consists of 124 holes totaling 58,054 m and 21,867 samples collected for gold analysis.
