CEO Clips - Lahontan Gold: Advances Santa Fe Toward Restart in Nevada
The company is fast tracking its Santa Fe project back into production.

Drilling and permitting support plans to return a past producer to operation.
Lahontan Gold Corp. is focused on gold and silver exploration in Nevada’s Walker Lane, a region the company views as one of the best mining jurisdictions in the world.
The company is fast tracking its Santa Fe project back into production. Santa Fe previously operated as a low-cost, open pit heap leach mine from 1988 to 1994, and Lahontan’s work over the past three years has been centered on returning the asset to operation.
Recent drilling programs have focused in and around the existing pits with the goal of adding mineable ounces. Lahontan has received its plan of operations permit, allowing the company to move into the next phase of defining the size and potential of the project.
In addition to Santa Fe, Lahontan is advancing West Santa Fe, located approximately 13kilometres away. The project was drilled for the first time recently and previously operated as a silver mine in the 1930s. The company expects West Santa Fe to serve as a satellite operation and is increasingly encouraged by the silver component of the project.
