Athabasca Basin explorer deploys capital toward aggressive drilling program
Is Cosa Resources positioned for uranium discovery?
Cosa Resources is exploring joint venture uranium projects in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin, located near major producing mines and high-grade discoveries.
The Athabasca Basin has produced some of the highest-grade uranium deposits in the world. Exploration in this district is often guided by one principle: proximity.
Cosa Resources is applying that principle directly.
The company holds a 70% interest in joint venture projects with Denison Mines and is primarily focused on Darby Lake and Murphy Lake North.
Darby Lake lies approximately ten kilometres from the Cigar Lake mine. Murphy Lake North is located within three kilometres of the Hurricane deposit discovered by members of Cosa’s team in 2018.
Cosa’s leadership brings direct Athabasca discovery experience. That background informs its land selection and drill targeting approach.
With a treasury just under $10 million CAD, the company plans to maximize drilling activity over the next two years.
