Fireweed is named after Yukon Territory's flower. They're a Canadian mining exploration and development company focused on advancing the Macmillan Pass Project.
The project is a large, zinc-led, silver-focused advanced exploration and development project that is host to four known deposits. Additionally, in 2020, Fireweed Zinc significantly expanded the property to 948 km2. Further, the new area includes an along-strike continuation of the highly prospective Fertile Corridor that has never been systematically explored for zinc-lead-silver deposits.
"We're excited that we're working here in Yukon, we're excited about our partnerships, and we're very excited about our future," - CEO, Brandon Macdonald
