Property located over 3 gold-bearing creeks
Flow Metals is a gold explorer based in Vancouver with early stage gold projects in BC, the Yukon and Quebec.
Flagship Gold Project
The Sixtymile Project is located 2 hours west of Dawson City in the Yukon. It is road accessible as well as only 20 minutes from the Top of the World highway. The Project is located over three gold-bearing creeks that have produced over 150,000 ounces of gold since the discovery of gold in Yukon in the late 18th century.
Further, Sixtymile can be efficiently and effectively explored thanks to heavy equipment on site. Graders, dozers and hoes are available to maintain and create access roads, drill pads and trenches. The placer miners also remove gravels and expose bedrock in the process which can be mapped and assessed for mineralization by geologists on site.
Flow Metals optioned the Project from award-winning prospector and geologist Roger Hulstein in 2018, based on favourable drill results of up to 24m at 1.6 g/t (DD11-18) and the occurrence of gold in the creeks. Moreover, the property was drilled and trenched in October 2020. Exploration combines structural mapping with high-resolution geophysics to define drill and trench targets. RAB drilling is used to identify the best targets to be followed up with diamond drills.
