Mandalay Resources: Building a Platform for Sustainable Growth in Gold Mining

September 9, 2024

Learn how Mandalay Resources is advancing gold production with two key assets in stable, mining-friendly jurisdictions

Mandalay Resources is strategically positioned to grow its gold production with two significant assets located in stable, mining-friendly countries—Sweden and Australia. The Bjorkdal Mine in Sweden, a multi-vein system within a volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) deposit, has been producing approximately 50,000 ounces of gold annually since 1988, generating substantial cash flow. Meanwhile, the Costerfield Mine in Australia, situated near a prolific gold mining region, also produces around 50,000 ounces of gold annually and is rich in antimony, a critical mineral with expanding uses in solid-state batteries and solar panels. With strong recent quarterly results, zero debt, and a clear focus on operational excellence, exploration, and strategic mergers and acquisitions, Mandalay Resources aims to scale up production significantly over the next three to five years.
