Nextleaf: Turn-Key Cannabis Processing Solutions

Nextleaf is a Molecule Factory

Paul Pedersen, Co-Founder & CEO of Nextleaf Solutions talks about the company being the first to have a patent issued around the production of cannabinoid distillate.

Nextleaf Solutions has devoted their resources around developing intellectual property and have been able to beat every billion dollar company in this space to the first issued patent around the extraction and purification of cannabinoids.

2019 is all about commercializing their intellectual property. In order for all the infused products to be produced at scale in a legal marketplace.  Those products require a highly purified, standardized tasteless odorless molecule. Whether that's a THC or CBD molecule, that then infuses these products.

Furthermore, Nextleaf is the first company to have a patent issued around the production of cannabinoid distillate. This is their industrial scale process of going from a low grade biomass into that highly refined tasteless odorless molecule of CBD or THC. It's then ready to infuse the variety of products that are now legal as of October 2019.

Nextleaf has an extraction and processing only facility east of Greater Vancouver. That facility will never have plants. What Nextleaf is a molecule factory.

Extraction Technology

The company simplifies extraction technology and provides turn-key cannabis processing solutions to help licensed producers and micro-cultivators maximize the value of every harvest.

Nextleaf holds multiple U.S. issued and pending patents for the process of producing cannabinoid distillate, the precursor of every cannabis infused product.

Highly concentrated THC or CBD distillate is odourless, tasteless, and standardized for potency. Nextleaf’s patented process will disrupt the production of infused edibles and beverages.

In addition, Nextleaf delivers its proprietary technology at both its Centralized Processing Facility and Mobile Extraction Lab onsite at licensed production facilities.

Through a combination of extraction, refinement and purification steps they create a distillate suitable for a variety of product concepts and methods of consumption.

Their unique approach enables producers and cultivators to bring premium, differentiated products, including consumables and topicals to market safely and efficiently.
