Silver Mountain Resources: Peru's Newest Silver Producer Targets Production Growth and Resource Expansion

Silver Mountain Resources has restarted silver production in Peru, with plans to increase processing capacity, bring a second mine online and expand its precious metals resources across a 70,000-hectare land package.
Silver Mountain Resources has officially transitioned from developer to producer following the September 2026 restart of its flagship underground silver mine in Peru. Located in a historic mining district, the operation benefits from existing underground infrastructure and a refurbished 2,600-tonne-per-day processing plant.
With its first mine operating, Silver Mountain is preparing to bring its second mine, Caudalosa, into production. Near-term priorities include shipping silver concentrate, updating mineral resources to support its next three years of planned production and completing an updated Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA). Management intends to reinvest cash flow from operations into further development and exploration.
Beyond its production plans, Silver Mountain controls approximately70,000 hectares of mining concessions, offering opportunities for additional silver and precious metals discoveries. By leveraging existing infrastructure, expanding its resource base and pursuing higher production volumes, Silver Mountain Resources is working to establish itself as a growing silver producer in Peru.
