We're currently seeing producers trade at discounted multiples relative to historic averages. Therefore, Ioannou prefers to look at producers who are generating meaningful cash flow right now as opposed to developers who are burning cash to develop projects.

"Moving to producers, which are relatively cheap at the moment, gives a much better, much safer investment opportunity in general", says Ioannou.
