Baseload is a company focused on uranium exploration in northern Saskatchewan. They have discovered near-surface high-grade uranium mineralization in their projects and have completed a successful drill program in one of their projects called Catharsis. The company plans to shift its focus back to its discovery and has planned 10,000 meters for it during the summer. Baseload aims to find near-surface basement-hosted high-grade uranium deposits outside the Athabasca Basin. Nuclear energy is being favored to meet CO2 emission demands set by many countries, and Baseload believes that nuclear energy is the most efficient power source available today.
James Syke, CEO & Director
James brings 10 years of Athabasca Basin uranium exploration and discovery experience to the team, most notably from prominent roles for NexGen’s Arrow deposit and having provided invaluable work on Hathor’s Roughrider deposits. Over the past decade, he has been directly and indirectly involved with the discovery of over 500 M lbs. of U3O8 in the Athabasca Basin.
