The patent covers the protective effects of cannabinoids when mixed with tobacco. This has the potential not just to save lives but also to disrupt the nearly trillion dollar global tobacco industry.

We're really in states that are early in the process, just getting started with the consumers. We actually have five full time positions on our team. Vireo is also stacked with appropriate legal teams and scientists and this drives a lot of opportunities in the MSO space. There's also a great engineering team and partnerships on tap. They're going to drive the next generation of processing equipment.

We are also excited about the next generation of packaging and the next generation of consumer products in the cannabis space.

I'm not aware of any other companies that are so focused on replacing this terrible triad. We want to replace opioids, tobacco and alcohol. Building real replacements for that excites me as a physician and as a business person obviously if you can do those three things you're looking at a pretty remarkable business."
