Virtuix is bringing physical movement into virtual environments, creating immersive simulation technology for military, defense and enterprise training.
Virtuix combines virtual reality, AI-generated environments and its Omni omnidirectional treadmill technology to let users physically walk, run and maneuver through simulated environments.
For defense applications, the company’s technology allows military personnel to train and rehearse in virtual recreations of real-world terrain before entering the field. Virtuix is working with the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps, including serving as lead systems integrator for the U.S. Marine Corps Infantry Fireteam Trainer.
By bringing physical movement into simulation, Virtuix is expanding how immersive technology can be used for mission planning, military training and real-world preparedness.
