Corton Capital: Opening the Door to Private Credit for Public Investors
Corton Capital is turning traditionally exclusive private credit markets into accessible, yield-focused opportunities for everyday investors.

David Jarvis, President and CEO of Corton Capital, has spent decades navigating the hedge fund and institutional investing space. Now, he’s aiming to bring that same discipline and strategy to a wider audience. In this episode of BTV’s Summer Spotlight, Jarvis introduces Corton’s latest ETF—designed to provide access to collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), a private credit asset class once reserved for institutions.
Jarvis explains how CLOs, composed of diversified, asset-backed business loans, offer attractive yields and capital preservation in a market where traditional fixed income struggles. “It’s over 100 individual loans, all secured by the assets of the underlying company,” he says, adding that the ETF structure brings these opportunities into a regulated, liquid format for individual investors.
With volatility pushing investors to seek income and stability, Corton Capital is carving out a space for sophisticated strategies that were once out of reach.
