Beng Lai is the Managing Director of Investment Banking at Echelon Wealth Partners. He shared his thoughts with BTV on the progression and acceptance of psychedelic drugs.
Lai believes that there are a few important trends occurring. "I think the first one that has the most impact is the gradual but meaningful shift in the attitudes of the government," says Lai. According to Lai, an example of this would be the US, where it is still federally prohibited. However, we've seen a number of states either legalize or are least reviewing the legal status of psychedelic drugs.
