Larry Bagnell on the great support that the Northern mining industry receives

Larry Bagnell is the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages for the Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency. He believes that the resource industry in Canada's North has great support from all levels of government. This includes the First Nations, the Territorial, the Municipal as well as the Federal government.

There is an infrastructure challenge related to both roads and ports in the north. "What we've done is have a Northern Corridor Strategy. And we've announced, last summer, another 400 million dollars for that Northern Corridor Strategy," says Bagnell. This project So is sure to help build roads to the biggest potential mining opportunities.
