First Nordic Metals is a gold exploration and development company focusing on two key regions: Sweden and Finland. At the heart of its portfolio is the Barsele Gold Project, located on Sweden’s prolific Gold Line belt. With a resource base of 2.4 million ounces of gold, Barsele is one of Europe’s largest gold deposits, and the company controls over 100 km of strike in this resource-rich region. Additionally, First Nordic Metals has a promising high-grade underground deposit in Finland’s Oijärvi Greenstone Belt with a maiden resource of over 300,000 ounces.
Agnico Eagle, a significant player in the mining industry, has been a joint venture partner on the Barsele Project since 2015, and recently increased its involvement as a cornerstone shareholder with a 13.3% stake in the company. With this strong partnership and extensive exploration opportunities, First Nordic Metals is positioning itself to uncover the next major gold camp in Europe.
