The single-seat electric vehicle may be the future of driving
ElectraMeccanica Vehicles Corp. is a Canadian designer and manufacturer of environmentally efficient electric vehicles (EVs). The company’s flagship vehicle is the innovative, purpose-built, single-seat EV called the SOLO. This three-wheeled vehicle will revolutionize the urban driving experience, including commuting, delivery and shared mobility. The SOLO provides a driving experience that is unique, trendy, fun, affordable and environmentally friendly. Additionally, InterMeccanica, a subsidiary of ElectraMeccanica, has successfully been building high-end specialty cars for 61 years.
More on SOLO
SOLO can go from 0 to 60 in 10 seconds and get to a top speed of 80 MPH. Most importantly, it reduces your environmental footprint. Another perk is that it only takes three hours to get to a full charge. Further, the vehicle is powered by a 17.3 kWh NCA Battery liquid cooled and compatible with universal charging stations everywhere.
It also has 99% fewer parts than a combustion engine—meaning significantly fewer opportunities for things to go wrong. Plus, the vehicle comes with heated seats and is vegan-friendly as well.
