Erdene Resources is advancing high-grade gold production in Mongolia, targeting approximately 75,000 ounces annually while pursuing a multi-mine development strategy across the Khundii Minerals District.
Erdene Resources is one of Mongolia's newest gold producers, with a high-grade open-pit gold mine targeting 3 to 3.5 grams per tonne gold. The company's Bayan Khundii gold mine is the foundation to generating cashflow to expand and extend the mine's life.
Beyond its producing mine, Erdene's long-term vision is to develop the Khundii Minerals District into a multi-mine operation spanning gold, molybdenum and copper. By combining current gold production with opportunities for additional mineral development, the company aims to establish a diversified mining platform in Mongolia.
