Plans for drilling at its promising Golden Lion project are getting underway
Evergold combines four 100%-owned properties in prime B.C. geological real estate from well-known geologist C.J. (Charlie) Greig, with the recently optioned Rockland property in Nevada, seasoned management, and a qualified board.
The company’s flagship assets consist of the Snoball property, located in the heart of BC’s famed Golden Triangle, where drilling in 2020 achieved the discovery of a new high-grade, gold-silver system at the highest elevations on Pyramid Peak and the Golden Lion property, located at the north end of B.C.’s Toodoggone region.
Snoball
The Snoball property hosts a new high-grade gold-silver epithermal vein discovery. This was achieved by the company in 2020, within and below Pyramid Peak and Snoball Ridge.
Last year’s discovery was made at the summit of Pyramid Peak. Drill results from the 2020 program included intercepts such as 20.8 g/t Au & 54.54 g/t Ag over 0.70 metres from 134.30 to 135.00 metres in hole SB20-006, and 12.90 g/t Au and 54.24 g/t Ag over 1.44 metres from 47.75 to 49.19 metres in hole SB20-00

The data that was generated last year has allowed Evergold to identify what it believes may be the sweet spot.
Golden Lion
Evergold’s Golden Lion prospect is near-surface, and potentially very large-scale. The property hosts the large, near-surface, ‘GL1 Main’ epithermal gold-silver system, which drilling by the company in 2020 (1,647 metres in 10 holes) confirmed exhibits both bulk-tonnage and high-grade vein styles of mineralization, and geophysics and geochemistry strongly suggests offers considerable near-term upside in the depth dimension, as well as along strike.
Drilling is about to get underway. "Golden Lion could become a major discovery and very quickly if we're successful at the pending program this year," says Keough.
