FPX Nickel: Developing Canada's Next Nickel District

January 18, 2022

Vancouver-based junior nickel mining company developing the large-scale Decar Nickel District in central British Columbia

FPX Nickel Corp. is focused on the exploration and development of the Decar Nickel District, located in central British Columbia, and other occurrences of the same unique style of naturally occurring nickel-iron alloy mineralization known as awaruite.

Decar Nickel District:

The Decar Nickel District is the company’s flagship nickel property. This deposit contains little or no sulphides, meaning it has little or no capacity to generate acid mine drainage. Initial metallurgical test work demonstrates the nickel-iron alloy is recoverable using conventional two-stage grinding and magnetic separation, followed by gravity concentration – and does not require chemical reagents thereby significantly reducing another potential environmental impact.
