The Amanita Muscaria mushroom is probably the most famous mushroom in the world. For five thousand years, healers have turned to Amanita Muscaria to heal the mind and protect the body.
"We tasked our team with finding a legal psychedelic plant or fungi that we could work with. And we stumbled across Amanita Muscaria," says Stevens.
Psyched Wellness has spent hours and hours researching the biochemical compound of this extraordinary mushroom. And for the first time in modern history, has successfully distilled its restorative and healing elements. Simultaneously, they've eliminated the mushroom’s psychoactive components. Their lab-tested, organic and natural Amanita Muscara products are able to reduce stress and anxiety, ease physical distress as well as promote restorative sleep.
Additionally, Psyched Wellness is the only public company doing the foundational science on Amanita Muscaria.
The company expects to complete its preclinical trials by the end of 2021. At that time, the company will make its application to the FDA for a New Dietary Ingredient and Health Canada for that Natural Health Product number. "We should be in a position to start marketing products within the first half of 2022 and generate revenues to support the company's R&D program," says Stevens.
