Labrador Gold: High-Grade Gold in Newfoundland

September 2, 2020

CEO of Labrador Gold, Roger Moss, talks about potential high-grade gold discoveries in Newfoundland

Labrador Gold's main focus is gold exploration in Eastern Canada. Overall, the company has 4 projects, 1 in Ontario, 2 in Labrador; and more recently an exploration in Newfoundland.

The property that Labrador Gold acquired from technical advisor, Shawn Ryan, was almost 700 square km. Now it is down to 77 square km, which represents the best area within the larger package.

"Historical work done on the project over the last 4 years has demonstrated that there is the potential for high-grade gold discoveries in the district," says President and CEO of Labrador Gold, Roger Moss. "I think that the information that we have enables us to rapidly target areas for really good gold mineralization. "

New Found gold

The New Found gold discovery is associated with a fault zone. Labrador's properties cover about 16 km of that same fault zone. Their crews are on the ground now and are going to have a significant geochemical and geophysical surveys done on the property. In fact, they expect to be able to start drilling perspective targets in the fall.

In addition, the company recently raised over 7 million dollars. This means they are well funded to perform gold exploration through this year and into the next.

Experienced team and excellent jurisdiction

Labrador has an experienced exploration team with success in finding gold deposits. CEO, Roger Moss, was instrumental in discovering the multi-million-ounce Navachab gold deposit. On the other hand, technical advisor Shawn Ryan has 20 years of gold exploration experience resulting in the discovery of 7.5 million ounces of gold in three deposits in the Yukon.

Excellent jurisdiction and infrastructure, Newfoundland and Labrador is politically stable and very supportive of exploration and mining. Also, the recently acquired Kingsway Gold Project is just 16km northwest of the town of Gander with good road access, nearby electricity, and abundant water.
