Evergold Corp. has two key projects focused mainly on gold, lesser silver and copper in northwestern British Columbia. One is the Snoball property and the other is the Golden Lion property.
Traditionally Evergold tries to identify one or two good assets that they believe could deliver discoveries. Further, as a private company, they develop them to the point of being drill ready. When they are drill ready, they go public.
"We're going to do the really exciting work of drilling for the first time (these targets) this summer.", says President and CEO, Kevin Keough.
Additionally, Evergold Corp. has been assembled by a team with a record of recent success in British Columbia, combining four 100%-owned properties in prime geological real estate from one of BC’s best-known geologists, C.J. Greig, with seasoned management and a qualified board.
"Charlie Greig and myself were the key people behind the discovery of the Saddle Discovery, which is emerging as a major, and possibly the largest, discovery in that neck of the woods in the last fifteen years.", says Keough.
Snoball
The 100% owned, helicopter access, 3,545-hectare Snoball property is drill-ready and offers near-term discovery potential. Moreover, the property is located in the heart of British Columbia’s famed Golden Triangle. Markedly, Evergold believes they've found the source of a large, strong, gold-silver anomaly, up-slope of previous work, and intend to be the first to drill it.
Interpreted as an intrusion-related system, at Snoball a body of diorite has been emplaced along the northwest-trending, faulted contact between Stuhini Group sedimentary rocks to the west, and Hazelton Group volcanics to the east. Styles of mineralization include high-grade vein-hosted gold+/-silver, replacement/skarn, and intrusion-related bulk tonnage.
Golden Lion
The 100% owned, helicopter access, 5,099-hectare Golden Lion property is drill-ready and offers near-term discovery potential. In addition, this property is located in the Toodoggone region of north-central British Columbia. In fact, the Golden Lion property exhibits high grades of gold, silver and copper in outcrop and high values in soils, multiple targets and large-scale potential. Mineralization styles encompass high-grade vein-hosted epithermal gold-silver, copper-gold-silver replacement/skarn, and potential bulk tonnage copper-gold porphyry.
